We love unique events that bring people together and assist us in fighting hunger. A couple months ago we got a call from an organization looking to do just that. Naturally, we said “Absolutely, we’re in.”
The Colorado Project is a non-profit organization with a mission of creating an environment that will promote and build community among the glass art industry through philanthropic projects and events. Last year, they organized a glass blowing event that was a great success and they’re gearing up for their second annual two day event that starts tomorrow! This event brings together glass artists from around the nation to create art and raise money for a local charity. There will be a silent auction of glass art on Saturday, July 17 with a closing time of 5:00 p.m. Proceeds from this year’s event are being donated to us!
Stop on by Saturday from 10-5 for the auction, bid on some fantastic art, eat and drink and help support FBR. The event is taking place in a warehouse at 6850 Broadway, Unit E, Denver (US 36 & Broadway exit, on the left, right past Mickeys Top Sirloin restaurant).
Special thanks to The Colorado Project for including us in the festivities! We’ll post photos next week!
