All Things Sakic

It’s a good weekend when we can report nearly one million meals raised over the course of 2 days.  That was the case after this year’s Joe Sakic Celebrity Classic and the Joe & Debbie Sakic Bringing Hope to the Table Celebration, sponsored by CoBank and RBC Wealth Management. 

On August 25 and 26, sponsors and friends joined together for a picture perfect day of golf at the renowned Sanctuary Golf Course and celebrated the following evening with fabulous food, a fantastic auction and comedy by Bob Marley at the Marriott Denver Tech Center.  This is the 14th year the Sakics have dedicated themselves to fighting childhood hunger in Colorado.  With the addition of nearly one million meals provided, this duo has helped raise a total of over 15 million meals for Colorado kids in need.  Simply outstanding.

 

 Jake Schroeder and Randy Dalton of the Railbenders provided one-of-a-kind entertainment during dinner.

 Bob Marley showcased side splitting comedy following dinner.

The event committee goes to bat, year after year, to make the events successful.  Job well done crew!
