Donation is part of the company’s $5 million dollar commitment to Feeding America to support increased need for food assistance.
The need for food assistance in Colorado has increased dramatically as a result of the pandemic. To help provide food and other essentials to our neighbors in need, Raytheon Technologies has committed $5 million to Feeding America to support local food banks. This donation will allow Food Bank of the Rockies to provide enough food for more than one million meals.

Community partners like Raytheon Technologies are stepping up to help us meet that need, and we’ve been able to nearly double the amount of food we distribute each week. This gift from Raytheon Technologies will provide the funds for distribution of enough food for more than one million meals for people facing hunger during this unprecedented time. To meet this increased need, Food Bank of the Rockies is purchasing more food and hosting special mobile pantry distributions. The organization hired more drivers and warehouse staff, rented refrigerated trailers, and even secured an additional warehouse. Food is a basic need and during this critical time, Food Bank of the Rockies is taking every step possible to make sure no one goes hungry.
